Hello Audi Enthusiasts!

This Month, I broke my streak of driving an Audi Wagon as my personal demo (14 years) and checked out a beautiful new Daytona Gray 2007 Q7 3.6 Premium. I must say, I probably fell for the gorgeous color first of all, but I also thought why does my wife get to have all the fun driving Audi’s newest SUV entry? I mean I want her to enjoy the new Q7, but hey, I did grow tired of watching her run errands and kids around in her Garnet Red one, without snatching one myself.

I have discovered that His and Her Q7’s works just fine, thank you. But now, I need to say one thing - Audi built their first SUV right! The new Audi Q7 3.6 is outstanding – smooth, powerful, comfortable, and easy to drive.

It drives like an Audi A6 sedan, not heavy and bulky like most other SUV’s. The incredible news is the roominess of the Audi Q7. The 3rd row seating is great for carpooling.

One of my favorite options on the Audi Q7 is Audi Assist. When traveling 40 miles per hour on the road, if you signal a lane change, the turn signal blinks rapidly right at you to alert you that a car is in your blind spot, thus avoiding a side swipe or worse. What an amazing engineering feat.

One other cool feature is the power tailgate that operates with a simple push of a button. Overall visibility from the driver’s seat is superb, for drivers who are both big and little – I’m 6-1 while my wife is 5-3.

I could go on and on about all of the new technology Audi has put into the new Q7, but will save my praise for another time.
